    Default Eczema?

I think I have eczema around my nipple. It's red and blotchy and itchy. I don't think it's thrush...

What can I put on it? Hydrocortizone cream? How do I wash it off good enough before nursing?

Were you able to find any answers for this one? Has it gotten any better?

Hopefully it's all cleared up, but for future reference, Dr. Hale has this to say about hydrocortisone:

Topical application to the nipple is generally approved by most authorities if amounts applied and duration of use are minimized. Only small amounts should be applied and then only after feeding; larger quantities should be removed prior to breastfeeding. 0.5 to 1 % ointments, rather than creams, are generally preferred.
