    Default Normal Containers?

Right, i'm going to end up spending way too much on breastmilk bags so I thought, would it be okay if I just put the milk in normal deep food containers in the fridge? Not for a long number of days but generally speaking if I wanted to store some in the fridge would this be ok?

I would make sure the seal is very tight. In the freezer I store in 4oz canning glass (freezer safe) jars. That way they are reusable and all I have to do is wash them. For the fridge I store in premade capped bottles if I am going to use them within 24 hours or in medela bottles with lids if I am going to store for a couple of days.

Yeah its for the fridge, I can store in bottles but I can't keep using lots of lots of bottles lol so I'll store them in containers, shall I sterilise the containers first? If so, in the steriliser or just boil them.

I would steralize them initially by boiling and after I would wash with soap and water after each use. If the containers are used for food again I would steralize them before I start using them to store breastmilk again.

If you have friends who have babies eating jarred baby food, ask them for some jars. Perfect 4 oz size, no nasty chemicals leaching out.
