Yes, agree with PP. It sounds like teething. When my DS was biting during nursing sessions, I would nurse him with my finger at the tip of his mouth/my nipple. As soon as he started to tense his jaw muscles and get ready to clamp down, I would de-latch him. I was very vigilant with watching and leaning about him during the biting months. We powered thru the biting and continued our happy nursing relationship.
You're not supposed to be so blind with patriotism that you can't face reality. Wrong is wrong no matter who does it or who says it.
