    Default introducing a bottle.

Hi, I am needing my 13 week old to be able to take a bottle (expressed milk) but he is refusing to take one. Has anyone got any advice to help us?
    Thanks

There are some nice articles on here about introducing bottles. For specific advice from members of the forum, it might help to know why baby is needing a bottle (you are back at work or school, baby needs supplementation, whatever the situation is) and if it is you or someone else giving the bottle.

This is very important info for bottle feeding the breastfed baby: http://www.llli.org/docs/00000000000...fyour_milk.pdf

tips for introducing baby to bottle or for when baby will not take a bottle: http://www.llli.org/faq/bottle.html and http://www.llli.org/nb/nbseptoct94p152.html and http://www.llli.org/nb/nbnovdec02p218.html

Plus, there are alternatives to bottles (cup feeding, at the breast supplementer) that are appropriate in some situations.

I'm not sure if what I'm going to say is part of the links provided above, but when you do introduce a bottle let it come from someone else. Your little one will more than likely want the milk straight from the breast if you are around.
