Re: Struggling to BF exclusively
Agreed. 1 oz per hr is great. That is exactly how much I pump at work for my 9.5 month old. By the way, pumping and washing is the bane of my existence. I run home after work every day relieved that I can just nurse my baby when I'm at home. Although I had so many tears and insecurities for the first few weeks, it has become completely effortless and a pure joy. Please don't deprive yourself or your baby of what I promise you turns out to be the sweetest, most hilarious event of your every day. He now blows raspberries before each nursing session as a prelude, giggles uncontrollably as he does this looking straight into my eyes, and shakes his rattle as he nurses. I never knew this kind of joy existed in life.
