    Default TheraFlu

I have a had a nagging cold for a few weeks. I haven't taken anything because I do not know what to take. Is it ok for me to take TheraFlu?

You'll have to read the side of the box and figure out the component medicines, but there is some info here on cold medicines and their compatibility with breastfeeding.

It may be easier to go with separate medications rather than a combined treatment like Theraflu. That way, you know each component is approved. Beware that some decongestants may reduce supply for some women. I've never had a problem with this, but (a) everyone is different and (b) I had oversupply, so I was not in a situation where a small decrease in supply would have very negative repercussions.
