    Default Bottle strike?

I am sure some of you have faced this before, but I am really struggling here (or at least my DH is struggling). When my LO was around 5 weeks old we introduced a bottle, because I had to start working again 6 weeks post partum. He did ok with it, didn't love it but took it just fine. Starting at 6 weeks, I was gone for 4ish hours at a time and he again did ok with the bottle that whole week. Fast forward to the last few days and he won't take it at all. He just screams and screams bloody murder. He is almost 8 weeks old and I don't know what to do. I have to work. What should I recommend to my poor DH? How are we supposed to feed this baby while I am away?? Is this just a phase or is he doomed to hate the bottle forever?

(PS--We have three different types of bottles / nipples, and he doesn't want any of them. Oh, and I am flattered by this, I love nursing him...but I worry about his relentless screaming and my poor DH's sanity.)

My third kid HATED bottles. He wouldn't take any at first, but we kept trying, and finally, heconsented to take this one, which we on,y ever could find one of. He never did super well with it.

Check for lipase. I always wonder about that when a baby was taking a bottle and now won't.

He could try cup feeding, syringe feeding, droppers, or other types of alternative feeders.
