Default Medela Freestyle Hands-Free Breast Pump

Ok, this is bothering the heck outa me because I can't figure it out. My friend is pregnant and we are trying to figure out how the Medela Freestyle is hands free!!!!! I can't find a picture anywhere showing me how it's hands free. (Amazon shows the parts, but not how to connect them.) Does anybody have one that you can show me how this is hands free? Does it connect or hook on to your bra somehow?

I had the Medela PISA and just used a sports bra cut with holes to make it hands free. So, I don't see how the extra money is worth it for the PISA compared to the Freestyle?

    Thanks!!

Can't help with pics but the Freestyle is about 10 pounds lighter than the PISA and easier to clean- that's why I upgraded.

I think by use of the mentioned "support belt & extension" as well as the "bra adapters"

Is the option only the recharable batterys for the Free-style? Or do you have the option of plugging directly into a 120 V outlet or 12 V car adaptor?

looked through the manual from the link I provided and it appears you can't run it directly when plugged in, but can get a vehicle charger. I would check with Medela directly though if you want to be sure. Sometimes contacting the manufacturer can benefit you greatly. I got 2 free power adapters for my MobiCam webcam monitor that way!

I run my Freestyle plugged into the wall when I'm at work or off the battery when I'm in the car or when the power is out.

I use a hands-free bra as it's much more stable and supports a full 8 oz bottle than the Freestyle strap thingies it comes with. But yes, those fasten to your bra.

I prefer it to a PISA because it's so small and fits in my diaper bag, along with my bottles and diapers, and doesn't weigh as much. I wouldn't buy it if I wasn't an EPing mom though.
