Default Sterilizing pump parts for thrush

Are the Medela quick steam sterilizing bags as effective as boiling parts? DD2 and I are being treated for thrush and this has been going on for more than 5 weeks at this point. I use the steam bags every night (to save me some time) but wondering if I need to be boiling parts instead?

According to Medela they should be effective in killing thrush--http://www.medelabreastfeedingus.com...-viralbacteria

Considering how long you have been fighting the Thrush, it certainly wouldn't hurt to switch to boiling, however.

These bags are what helped me beat thrush! They rock. I think they are more effective than boiling.
