Most BF babies take 1 to 1.5 oz per hour mother is away. 6 oz is TOO MUCH for a BF baby and probably too much for a FF baby.

Most 2.5 months are taking 2-3 oz per bottle. My 7 month old only takes 4 oz.

I would, instead of adding more milk, change my bottle nipples to a slow flow that makes her work. Like use a Breastflow. Many bottle nipples wear out after just a few weeks, allowing more milk to come out faster, and since a bottle is already easy to suck from, it's way easy for a baby to get more milk than they really need out.

I am using the level 1 for dr brown. I guess I won't increase. Friend EP for her baby and baby is on schedule so I guess I shouldn't compare.

Even EPing...that's a lot of milk. But no, don't compare babies

But you might need new nipples for your bottles. They wear out. And there's no standardization, so one nipple in the same pack might let out more milk than another. Or try a different bottle. Also, do paced bottlefeeding.
