    Default Strong Letdown

Does that mean you have a lot of milk? My letdown is very strong. It sqirts all over her face after i feel the letdown. Im just afraid that i dont have enough milk. For some reason she started taking a binky this week and when i try to feed her when i think she is hungry she will latch on suck a few time pop off and scream. She has been very gassy but she always is. So then i keep trying to put her on and she will just cry. Then i give her the binky and she goes right to sleep..Normal? im just scared im going to loose my supply. I have a ton of milk i hope still.

    ekewer,

It could be that your baby is overwhelmed by the fast flow of your milk. You could try allowing the initial letdown to spray into a towel or burp cloth, then latching baby back on.
