Default New morning routine after weaning

    Hi all,
My LO is 14 months & we aren't weaning yet but there's something in the back of
my mind. In the mornings, her Daddy gets her & brings her to me for a morning nursing ~6 a.m. We don't usually eat breakfast until ~8. Just wondering what the morning routine looks like after this first nursing goes away. Thanks so much!

I can see that! I guess I am thinking about how she is used to the nursing time in bed. What happens when that ends?

Some moms keep a banana or something like that on their nightstands so their toddler can have a snack before getting up. When I weaned Lilah from the morning nursing, we did not get to lay around in bed. We had to go directly to the kitchen and get something to eat. Her dad can go lay down with her in her bed in the morning, and maybe I could now, I'm not sure, but we generally get up and get breakfast as soon as she wakes up.

Ooh! I like the banana idea! That's great, Tracie!

I can also see the cuddle/book time. Thanks to both of you!

    Guess we'll see what happens....

The first feeding of the day is my favorite just for that reason. I have the most milk and my picky toddler gets some good nutrition and I don't have to get out of bed at 6 am. That will definitely be the last nursing session to go for me because I can't imagine wanting to get up that early until I have to. Somedays when I work or am extremely busy that's the only nursing he gets all day.
Did this for 9months with Kailey and Hailey
    who are now 8.

weaned Dane somewhere around 3.5 no longer he likes to sleep with his sisters He's now 5

Now I am , , My baby Cruz who is almost 6 months and my last baby
