    Default Day and Night confused?

I think my ds has his day and nights confused. He ranges from 30min gaps between feedings and 2 1/2 hour gaps during the day. During the night, he only goes 45min or so between feedings. He also seems very restless between feedings. What do I need to do to get him on the right track??

My son went through a phase around that age where he would wake up at midnight and want to hang out and nurse until 4 a.m. It lasted a couple weeks and was exhausting, but it worked itself out eventually without any intervention by me. I remember reading that sleep patterns are pretty erratic at that age, but they will eventually normalize.

My dh wrote his dissertation on sleep, and so he had several tricks. I don't know if they worked, but our LO has been a good sleeper.
    - put baby in bright light first thing in the am, preferably outside, for 15 min or so
    - keep lights dim at night ( we sleep with a low light on so I don't have to turn one on at night for nursing etc)
    - cosleep (research suggests baby and mothers sleep cycles coordinate)
    - white noise maker for sleeping times
I also found baby wearing meant LO would catnap more, leaving longer sleeping for night. I also co-nap a lot during day too, which helps us all...

Cosleeping and time always has fixed it for us, and usually pretty quickly.
