    Question Peach thickener?

I do homemade purees for my daughter to eat at daycare - we do more BLS at home, and not even yet. Peaches are so good right now, but they make such a watery purée. I used cereal to thicken it, but does anyone else have any other ideas? A different cooking technique (currently I bake them)?

What about mixing it with sweet potatoes?

Or bananas? I used to do purees for my LO until recently (she can self-feed yay!!) and bananas are really great at thickening any really watery fruit like peaches :-)

ETA: oh and I would just cut up fresh peaches and bananas and throw them in the baby blender we have. Super easy!
