Question When I freeze my milk will the antibodies go away?

I have to pump and freeze right now because I am sick and DD is with her grandma. I was just wondering if the antibodies in the milk will go away since the milk isnt fresh so to speak.

    No, they will stay intact.

There is some evidence that freezing will destroy some of the antibodies and other "good stuff" in breastmilk. It is always better to serve your baby fresh milk, if at all possible. However, it does not destroy all of the antibodies, nor does it destroy most of them. So, if you can't feed fresh, frozen is a great second!!!! Here is a link that has some good information.
