My son will NOT take a bottle, end of story. He did when he was three months old, when he was five months I tried to give him one again, after about 8 weeks of not having one and he just licks it and stares at me like "Whats wrong with yours?" He wants nothing to do with them, whether he's hungry or just feeling snackish a bottle will not work. He will cry till he gets his breast. HOWEVER, he will take my BM out of a hard plastic sippy cup or plain wide mouthed cup or anything that is NOT a bottle. Should I try to get him back at a bottle or just skip it and give him the milk out of a sippy? He is six months old and eats solids for at least lunch and dinner, with BFing for snacks and after his solids. I'd like to leave him with a babysitter but I'm afraid he'll be hungry cuz he will not take a bottle. Is giving him a sippy of BM okay? Won't that ruin my BFing latch?
He takes sippies of water through the day, I give him a five ounce sippy of water he drinks all day long and that hasn't seem to effected it, but I'm afraid that if he learns to "eat" out of one he will try to eat from me that way.
