    Cool HELP! Sanitizing my breasts?!

Hi all! I'm hoping someone has an answer for me rather quickly, because we're leaving tomorrow morning.

I'm going on an all-day rafting trip with some friends and family. My 5-month-old and my 2 year old are staying home with my parents. I will be pumping along our all-day trek. However, the river will be very dirty as will I (and my boobs). How do I go about santizing my breasts/nipples BEFORE I pump?

Alcohol pads? Vinegar? What makes sense!? I can't figure it out!

    Thanks in advance, ladies!!

Medela clean wipes? Otherwise if your baby is healthy i would do babywipes or soap and water.

If the water is safe enough for you to swim in it, then simply baby wipes or soap and water should be fine. I would avoid using anything like alcohol since it could irritate your skin.

I feel like baby wipes wouldn't be sufficient. Would it?! (I just need some concrete: YES, IT'S SAFE! )

I have these hand sanitizing wipes that contain: water, propylene glycol, glycerin, carbomer, aminomethyl propanol, aloe leaf juice, tocopheryl acetate.

I don't have any Medela clean wipes and it's too late to hit the stores!

I was kind of thinking, what's wrong with baby wipes? If they can be used to clean E. coli off baby butts, why not random stuff off of breasts? But soap and water would work just fine too!

yeah I think people think pumping is a sanitary process. My thinking is it should be clean, but it doesn't have to be an operating room.
