Default One breast produces more than the other

My right breast seems to produce about 1 to 2 ounces more than the left. Is there anything I can do to produce more? I do own a pump just incase you have suggestions using a pumop to produce more.

    Hi there!

It might comfort you to know that many moms find their breasts do not produce the exact same amounts. This is completely ok, and if it doesn't bother you then you can just ignore it.

Do you believe that you have supply issues?

Do you BF or pump or both?

    This is very common.
I've always produced more on one breast and my dd has always preferred that one (probably why I produce more! ) It's never been an issue for me and unless it bothers you, I wouldn't worry about it.

As the PP stated, unless you are having obvious supply issues (baby not gaining) then it is nothing to worry about. If you *want* to try to increase supply on one side, the best way is to nurse more on that side. But if all else is good, there probably isn't a need to change anything.

    HTH!
