Re: Growth has plateaued?
It's very normal for weight gain to level off after the baby is 6 months old. The calories that used to get packed on as fat go into motion instead.
Growth proceeds in many dimensions at once. I'd only be concerned about a plateau in weight gain if the baby also plateaued in length and head circumference as well. If your baby got taller and his head grew at a normal rate, then I think there's nothing to worry about. But as the PP said, it wouldn't hurt to nurse more! Breast milk fills a lot of gaps in a toddler's erratic diet, and it is still one of the most calorie-rich foods your baby can consume. Forget pureed spinach- if you want to gain weight, have mama's milkshake!
