Yeah well I AM a little crazy sometimes. I think it's gonna be just some here and there. He's waaay too busy to nurse frequently. so it's kind of perfect.

Beth I'm totally gonna catch it with my cell next time. When I do, I'll post it for sure.

Yeah now that it seems he's going to be nursing at least once a day, I have to work on latch with him. I'm wondering how to do that. Maybe getting him to open wide and say ahhhh will work?

Yeah, I just quoted myself. So far Silas is nursing once or twice a day. Each time it is when he is under stress or becoming frustrated or scared or over stimulated. He has made the connection that nursing= comfort and I am so thrilled with how he is using nursing to calm himself down. He's not doing it everytime just some of the time but I suspect that as we go along he will pick up a few more sessions. He's still not saying much but he does say "mmmm" after he nurses and it makes me all because I remember wanting to hear his thoughts about nursing as he nursed into 2 or 3 years old and was so sad when I thought that wouldn't happen for us.

Something SO interesting is that all of a sudden he SEES Lola. He has ignored her since she was born. Almost completely. He held her once and I got pics but beyond that he barely even looked at her. Ever since he started nursing again, it's like he SEES her ykwim? He sits on my lap while I'm holding her and he touches her leg and smiles at her. He tries to look directly into her eyes and he smiles so big when she smiles at him. He's even hugging and kissing her. And it coincides with him nursing again and is usually when she is nursing or he wants to nurse that he becomes affectionate with her. Ugh! Anyhoo, I'm rambling now but I thought that was really interesting and wanted to share.
