    Default Tongue pulled back

Any suggestions other than pressing down on chin to get tongue forward to improve latch? LO opens wide but pulls tongue back.

(Previously had tongue tie that was "repaired")

I think I am having the same problem. Baby had tongue-tie fixed two weeks ago and it should be healed up by now but we're still having major problems. It is really discouraging. I am still damaged and in physical/emotional pain and he still has a shallow latch and sucking problems. We have been doing some tongue exercises to get him to protrude his tongue. You can place your fingertip along the middle of the tongue in the midline then stroke it by sliding the fingertip along the tongue as it is withdraw from the mouth.
