    Default Lipase Troubles

    hi,

i have very high levels of lipase, my milk goes bad within hours.

ive read through the master lipase post here and have started the bottle warmer method if you are familiar with it.

i just bought the munchkin bottle warmer and tried to heat my milk. i walked away and came back. i dont think it went up past 125 f... am i doing something wrong?

also, the water below the bottle is very low and boils into steam quickly. is it bad to have the milk so close, ive just read having it in boiling water is bad so i am confused.

thank you for your help!!! im going back to work soon and want to get my system down or i dont know what ill do. im trying to stay calm but ive lost my freezer stash and i cant start saving up until i get this worked out. its hard to be calm

I had to add more water. Like more than suggested -- probably voided the warranty -- or it didn't get hot enough. I played with bottles of water until I worked out how to make the system work for me.

Yeah, if the milk is 145, then it's OK. Mine boils the water too
