    Default Biting

I'm sure this has been asked a million times but what is the appropriate response when my 12 month old bites me? He thinks it's funny when I grimace so I try and keep a straight face and say no (which he also finds funny...). If I keep saying no and taking it away for a minute will that work? I hate being bit and I know he is doing it on purpose. Luckily for me he only does it about once a day, usually at bed time.

I say in a stern voice something like "stop! No biting! That hurts mommy!" and I stop nursing and gently put toddler on the ground. LO yells in anger. I pick him up and say "let's try again with no biting". Repeat as needed.
