    Default tea tree oil while nursing a toddler?

    So I read that tea tree oil is not safe to use with newborns but can I take it (3 drops 3 times a day)while nursing a two YO?
    I'm Lisa,SAHM to M. 5/14/09 my velcro boy!

    we made it to 19 mos!!! no end in sight
    always and (I'd like to have a just LO and mom cosleeping smilie...)
    food sensitivity to dairy,apple and orange
    we just started to put cloth on

    I've been told you can take it.3 drops in a glass of water...it's for treating candida albicans...just I don't trust my herbalist regarding BFing infos.

    Hmmm...Gosh I don't know. I have always been told not to take TTO internally so I have no idea how it would affect a nursing baby. What about Grapefruit Seed Extract? You can use that to treat candida as well.

    ok,this is really strange...I googled ''internal use of TTO'' in italian and it describes it in various sites as a treatment for bowel infections,sinus infections and other stuff.it just says to follow the prescriptions carefully.
    that's wierd...

    I would use the grapeseed extract.

    I wouldn't ingest TTO.

    There's info on jack newmans site about what type of GSE to get. You also want to space it out from any probiotics you take.
