You may have just gotten a lemon. I had a PISA I got from a friend that had been through our friend group - 4 mamas and like 6 kids, then mine.

My new one has been working just great since my daughter was born 3 mos ago - of course, I didn't use it until she was like 6 weeks old.

It could have just been a faulty pump.

I used an Ameda Elite Hospital Grade while at work, and that sucker was awesome! But it's not compatible with the Medela horns, hoses, etc. So I had to have a set for work and a set for home.

Hope the new pump works out for you!

I actually found some guy who used to be a repair guy for Ameda. I got a totally refurbished pump on e-bay from him for like $230. Best money I could spend, made pumping at my crazy job totally easy. It was really big, but it worked so well!
