Default weight gain-how 2 bulk up?

my 10 week old son had a growth spurt but he hasn't gained weight in proportion to his height. i tried feeding him more often yesterday but then he was only snacking and not eating meals. he is exclusively breastfed and i go back to work 3/4 time tonight. so i'm a bit stressed

any ideas on how to help his weight gain and avoid snacking syndrome?
    thanks

    do you co-sleep?
Sometimes alll slow growers need is a little bit more time at the breast.
Lost of skin to skin contact!
Try spending as much time with baby as you can.

yes, we co-sleep about 60% of the time. he naps by himself and sometimes goes to bed in the bassinette. i tried to get him at least used to the bassinette cuz he'll be sleeping at his caregivers house and didn't want him crying all night. we nurse at night but maybe i'll just keep waking him up to eat. is the snacking ok? will he eat meals better soon?

Snacking is OK. It falls in the category of "feed on demand". You provide quality and opportunity they decide quantity. If your worried about weight gain, you could try block feeding. That's where you only feed on one side for a whole feeding and sometimes two! To ensure that the baby is getting PLENTY of hindmilk!HTH!
