DS is 16 mo and has a limited vocabulary, but he knows the sign for "milk"! All I have to do is say "milk?" and he's ready to nurse. I've been trying to get him to sign milk (he knows the sign!!) instead of just walking up to me and pulling my shirt down. Sometimes he does, sometimes he doesn't. It's a work in progress...

I notice when my 4 yo nephew's around, he'll straight out tell me "I think he wants booby". My mom uses the word "nippy" short for nipple I suppose, which annoys the heck outa me! I don't want DS to start using that word, muchless in public. Plus, I'm sure many will disagree, but I feel that nippy is not quite the right word, somewhat demeaning idk... nursing is so much more than wanting a nipple!

GL on finding your right word!
