If this EVER happens again, or for anyone else experiencing the same situation - you need to immediately contact the hospitals' PATIENT ADVOCATE. This type of situation is what they are employed for, especially if you are given meds that you are allergic to. They should have the resources to rectify any situation and are there to work on the patient's behalf - not the physicians or nurses. I am so sorry that you went through this, I hope that your night went well with LO and she nursed to her heart's content!
