Default Super engorged on one side, away from toddler

I am dumb and forgot my pump thinking I didn't really have any milk anyway *i've felt that i haven't for months now* and I'm across the country away from my toddler. I know there are links on how to hand express, and I woke up today with one super full boob, the other is still is it's sad little self
I'm on my phone so I have a hard time searching google on it so if someone can link me a direct link that would be awesome!!
Also, I don't even care if I dry up so I'm trying cabbage leaves, but would warm compresses be bad or helpful? I'm going crazy here! Thanks friends!

Doesn't benedryl dry you up? I would think warm compresses would help. You don't want a clogged duct.

How did your mil say the boys were doing?

I hope everything is going well for you down there

    See you next week

Would you be able to go somewhere like Target and just pick up one of the little Medela manual single hand pumps? I'm not sure how much they are, but that might help just to take a little bit of the edge off? That's probably what I would do because I really suck at hand expression.

THe boys are doing okay, I called last night and Cooper just sobbed "mommy come home, I can't count all the people in our family if you're not in our house!"
Bennett didn't sleep at all at night the first night, bill said he did better last night.
I'm going to buy a hand pump tomorrow- where my mom is in the rv is in the middle of now where, my dad is 2.5 hours away from where they were living, so when I go to El Paso I'll pick something up, there is NOTHING in this little "town" they live in. I'll give the benedryl a shot, I'm so desperate for some relief! I'll keep trying the hand expression it's just hard b/c it's so full like when I first got my milk after birth
Hope to see you guys next week Shannon, looking forward to some fun after all of this!!
    thanks girls!

Get in a hot shower, the heat will help your milk start to flow and make hand expression loads easier. Also, I take benedryl, and it does nothing to dry me up, but totally puts me to sleep, so be careful. That recommendation seems to apply more to ladies who are already suffering from low supply.

Benedryl just makes me sleepy too. I think my pump was about $30 and its a manual from Target but Walmart and kmart should have something too.

You need the "good stuff" - pseudoephedrine - that you have to go to the pharmacy counter for. Again, I've taken it, and it never seemed to dry me up (my supply has always been, ahem, generous, though), but at least it doesn't make you drowsy!
