    Re: Rejecting Bottle

Thanks! I am really not committed to trying a bunch of stuff since I am with him mostly and it would be a rare occassion for him to have a bottle. Dont want to spend lots of money on bottles.

    Re: sleeping longer at night

Pedi is crazy. Child is waking up hungry so feed him. That was my sons routine for months. He would eat when waking, not to fall asleep. Either way is fine - he is newborn and has to eat!

    Re: Breastfeeding, Pumping, and Supply

The more milk you express, the more you make. Agree with pp, that it is prob just a growth spurt. Wait for that to settle down then resume pumping after sessions. I pumped alot like that and it...

Re: Milk after 4 months of weaning

Yes it is normal to have milk still - some women can produce milk up to a year after weaning/drying up. However I am not sure about the pain. If it continues you may want to call your doc on Monday.
  14. Re: Is it ok to NOT add solids at almost 7 mo?

Dont push it if shes content. There are plenty of moms who ebf til 1 year, no solids, nothing. Some kids just dont need it/arent ready for it. Go with your gut, you are doing great!

    Re: question about other liquids

  16. Re: when did you introduce a sippy cup?

At 8 mos Luke was learning the sippy. I just gave him water in it when he had "meals". He used it pretty well by 10 mos. When he weaned at 12.5 mos he drank bm in the sippy.

    Re: poop ?

Part of it may just be the additional solids in her diet. The more they eat like us, the more they poop like us. Does that make sense?

I wouldn't add anything in particular to her diet. Maybe...

Re: Wean or not to wean?

Alot of people will disagree with me on this - so be warned. I think you are setting yourself up for a really difficult weaning process by only nursing through the night. The older a child gets the...

    Re: Weaning from Pump first

    1. If you want to cut the number or pumping sessions then yes, cut out the one where you get less milk, that wil make you more comfortable than waiting all day and possibly becoming engorged by pm...
  22. Re: LO will not transition to cows milk
