  1. Re: 8 month old: Number of milk feeds per day.

My 8 month old feeds 5 times per day (7AM, 11AM, 3PM, 7PM & a dream feed at 10PM/11PM). Occasionally, there is a middle of the night feeding. This is the schedule she set up for herself around 5...

    Biting/Gnawing

My 8 month old does have teeth yet but she seems to be on the verge of getting them. We do baby led weaning so she has learned to gnaw/chew with her gums when she has food and now she is doing it on...

Re: Breastfeeding Help for Teen Mom

She is very unlikely to read and I'm not sure she has internet access beyond her phone. I will refer her to this forum if she does.

BTW, I do an E.A.S.Y. schedule per The Baby Whisperer and have...

    Breastfeeding Help for Teen Mom

My cousin is 18 and has a 1-week old little girl. She is nervous she is not getting enough and is thinking of quitting already. How do I get her support? I'm trying to help as much as I can but I...

I Would Like One Glass of Wine :)

I haven't had any wine since I found out I was pregnant. My daughter strongly prefers the breast to the bottle so I haven't even bothered to try to "pump & dump" (and I'm not sure how that works...

    Re: Not Responding to Pump

It started happening a few weeks ago. I don't feel stressed but we went from no kids to 3 kids in just over a year (adopted 2 boys July 2011, baby born January 2012). So...we've been through a lot....

    Re: Not Responding to Pump

You ladies are great! Instead of staring at the bottles (like I used to do), I just watched some funny clips on YouTube and pumped plenty with no problem at all. It worked again today. Crazy how the...

    Re: Not Responding to Pump

No, I will try to replace them though soon. I think my lactation consultant at the hospital where I delivered sells all the parts. I will check to see if they have the breast shields as well.

    Re: Not Responding to Pump

After being home and nursing all weekend, it does not appear that I have a supply issue. My issue just seems to be with not being able to let down when I pump. I have pumped twice since this morning...

    Re: Not Responding to Pump

I am getting ready to start again (like in 3 days). I tried adding an extra nursing session with her this morning and she was not having it. I'll take everything into account. Not too worried about...

    Re: Not Responding to Pump

It is actually a really nice pump (Ameda Purely Yours Ultra). It was highly recommended by my lactation consultant.

    Re: Not Responding to Pump

Yes, my period returned very quickly (when she was 3 months old).

I'll check out my pump parts and try to pump more often. I have my own office and a very "mom-friendly" workplace so pumping...

    Re: Not Responding to Pump

I've been back at work for about 4 months. What is AF (sorry, don't know the code terms on here)? I have not looked into my pump. What should I be looking for? I will definitely check it out. Didn't...

    Not Responding to Pump

I work 2-3 days outside of the home so I pump when I am at work. When I am home, my 6 month old nurses 5 times per day, every 3-4 hours. She sleeps through the night.

    When I first returned to...
