Re: Need help slowing down the flow

is block feeding OK if it would mean that each side was used for 10-12 hours? the FAQ here says to block-feed on each side for more like 3-4.

    Thanks!

    Re: oversupply/baby spluttering

Thanks. Right now he's nursing on average every 2.5-3 hrs.. so each side gets used every 5-6 hrs. if i added another feeding to each side, then it would be close to a 9-hour break on each side.

Re: Baby wants to eat after spitting up

If I stopped midway to burp him, he'd fall asleep (and want to eat again 30 minutes later). I have inverted/flat/bifurcated/otherwise uncooperative nipples and feeding is going more or less OK, but I...

  18. Re: Need latch help for sore/bleeding nipples

Thanks - If you had the sharp pain between feeds, did it dissipate in time? I used cabbage leaves to slow the oversupply with my last child and am applying them now just for a few minutes a day, but...
  19. Re: Need latch help for sore/bleeding nipples

I think it's not that.. the nipples are pretty bright red and stay that way, except for the blisters (which turn white when wet).

I'm at a loss on the deep-pain-after-eating.. after nearly a week...
  20. Re: Need latch help for sore/bleeding nipples
