    Re: Lumpy?

Thanks for asking this because I am wondering the same thing. I have lumpy areas on my left breast that are a bit sore. I am wondering if I should massage them or if that will stimulate more milk...
  2. Re: We're only night nursing...want DD in crib

Well, I just posted a thread in the "sleep" section. I really don't know if night nursing is the issue or something else. I just can't figure this kid out. I am seriously considering trying Dr....

    Thanks for the thread!
  4. We're only night nursing...want DD in crib

I am a full-time working Mom and never pumped (Sitter used to come to work with me). So, at twelve months I slowly day weaned, which actually was really easy to do. Now at 14 months, my DD nurses...
  5. Night weaning: tired Mom in need of advice!

I day-weaned my daughter when she was 11 months old because she was moving to a full-time care situation. It went really smooth (we did it gradually) and she continued to nurse plenty in the...
  6. Re: Is it ok to do it a month or so before age one?

I can tell you a little bit about what we did. My DD just turned one and I started day-weaning her just as she turned 10.5 months. By this time, my DD was only nursing about two-three times a day...
  7. Re: if starting to wean (at 12 mo), go straight to milk or formula?

I agree with tnmom..., my DD is almost 12 months and we are in the beginning stages of the weaning process. She now does not nurse at all during work hours and she has begun drinking whole milk. ...
  8. Re: thawed whole frozen peas? OK for 10 mo?

I give my 10 month old peas all of the time! They are one her favorites! They often come out whole or in halves but nonetheless they are a winner for us.

She also eats brown rice pieces, steamed...

    Re: Just started eating everything!?!??

I introduced solids to my DD at 6 months. She was pretty interested but would never eat a whole lot at a sitting. At about 7.5-8 months, she became VERY interested in food and it hasn't slowed down...

    Re: Biter biscuits?

LOs really like those biter biscuits but I hate them! They are horribly messy! Perhaps some of the PP's alternatives might be better.

  12. Re: Advantages of keeping one feeding after 1?

    Re: Pesto?

I do make my own and I could make some without nuts at all. But I was wondering about issues with herbs? I don't think I have heard anything about basil, cilantro, etc.

My DD is almost 10 months old. She eats three meals a day now, on most days. Somedays she has a small appetite, others she is a eating machine.

    Pesto?

My DD is about 10 months and she is eating a lot of the same foods we are at dinner, which is great. The more she eats what I eat, the easier things are for me! I haven't heard anything about...

Re: Do you still mix cereal w/ BM?

I actually feed my 9 month old regular cereals like Cheerios with banana and just a teaspoon of regular or soy milk, just enough to moisten the cereal. She eats cereal raw too but this is a funner...
  18. Re: PLEASE I am worried about DD and veggies...

Have you tried feeding your LO finger foods or are you giving her pureed baby food? Your LO might prefer steamed or baked veggies to pureed foods. I never gave my DD pureed foods and she has always...
