Re: Dr said it's fine? thoughts?

    Dr said it's fine? thoughts?

So I have been having issues with my son, and mucousy poop for quite some time. Yesterday I took a dirty diaper with me to his drs apt, and showed it to the ped. She said it looked fine, but it looks...
  4. Re: Lower supply, hindmilk/foremilk issues?

Have you tried breast compressions while you pump? Also, if there is a layer of cream type stuff on your pumped that's the hind milk. I think you get some at the end of each letdown, and compressions...

    Re: Lipase and frozen stash

From what I've read you can bring it almost to a boil, and this reduces the lipase. Not sure though cause I have never tried it.

Re: Dump Breastmilk with yeast infection?

What about stored milk that contains dairy when you suspect your infant has a dairy sensitivity? I froze tons before I figured out my baby seems to have a dairy sensitivity and I hate to throw it...

Re: need help knowing what I will need

Agreed! I don't think new mommys need ANY added stress. The whole learning experience itself was more than enough for me:)

Re: need help knowing what I will need

I had to supplement in the beginning, and at first I tried cupfeeding to avoid nipple confusion, but about a week into that, stress and exhaustion finally convinced me to give in and use a bottle. I...

    Re: Weight dropped below 3%

Will he take a bottle at all? Cause you could try pumping after feedings and feeding him that too. I noticed that most of the milk I pump after feedings is the higher cal hindmilk. If he wont take a...
