So glad... but still need help!

Hi ladies, I just want to say that I am really, really blessed by knowing I'm not alone in my oversupply, forceful letdown issues. With baby #1, this forum was the ONLY thing that saved our BFing...
  2. Re: Breastfeeding and Independent Toddle

I must say, my LO is 20 months and sounds exactly like the toddler you just described -- sometimes. But in general, I find it's more of a reflection of his overall temperament along with the setting...

    At a loss, I don't like this...

    Howdy! :lol

So my LO is now 18 months. Lately, I've been seeing him grow more and more independent, but I feel I'm a bit out of control with Baby G now. Since day one, he has nursed to sleep 99%...
  4. Re: DETOX diet while nursing 18 month old?

I too have been interested in doing a detox -- I'm a big believer in cleansing our bodies every so often. But I haven't done one since being pregnant or BFing. Not specific to what your doctor has...

    Re: Does anyone experience this?

Sorry, no help -- but I'd be interested in any input, seems like this problem describes what I experience, too. :(
  6. Have any idea what he might mean?...

My little guy talks all the time, mostly by pointing and grunting -- :) Oh yes, he's 15 months old.

He is an avid nurser, 2-4 times a day & several times at night. In the last month or so, he will...

    Sooooo frustrated!

My LO is about 14 months old -- has been eating a variety of solids since about 5-6 months. At the beginning, he was a CHAMP! He'd eat anything that I could puree for him. For several reasons, I have...

    Re: BMing to often?

You know... well, I think you might be right. I think "loose" is the correct word more than watery. But I will start taking note from now on. If, in fact, they are loose... but he still BMs several...

    BMing to often?

I have started to get very worried about my 12 month old... he has a BM anywhere from 2-4 times a day. Many are just about right, many are much more watery than I would expect.

    I was starting to...

    Traveling & so nervous...

My DS is 10 months old, and nurses 2-5 times a night--which is easily done since we co-sleep.

In a few weeks, we will be taking an 8 hr trip north for Thanksgiving. We've arranged it so we can...
  13. Re: Ongoing Engorgement-Getting Discouraged!!

I know many mommas out there might disagree with me, but I'll tell you what worked for me :)

My issue is I would wake up engorged EVERY morning. Feed the baby 2-5 a night since he was born...and...

    Re: Itchy breasts

You know... I have dealt with this at different degrees throughout the 9 months our LO has been nursing... not sure what to tell you, but it never affected our nursing!

    How to increase solids...?

(Reposted, originally posted in another section...still looking for advice, thanks!)

Hi momma's...I know it may seem like my post belongs in the Solid Foods section, but I am posting it here...
  16. Unsolicited Advice...gee, thanks but no thanks!

Hi momma's...I know it may seem like my post belongs in the Solid Foods section, but I am posting it here because my LO is only 8 months old and therefore should be mainly nursing, not eating solids....

  20. Re: Dr's Advice - Not sure what to make of it...

Just quick input--I've heard & read that the 6month growth spurt is mostly developmental...as in new words/movements/observations. So unlike the first few growth spurts, I didn't see much of a change...

    Is he "over" it??

Quick question ladies...do babies ever "grow out" of nursing to sleep? My LO has started giving me some trouble getting to sleep that way. He'll literally start crying, almost as if to say "I'm NOT...

    Re: Am I in trouble?...

During the day, he is nursing regularly. He has, however, started being very distracted--he'll nurse, roll over and look at anything for a while, then come back.

At night, he goes this even more...

    Am I in trouble?...

Hi ladies, alright I'm officially worried.

As of three nights ago, LO has no interest in nursing at night. In fact, it upsets him when I try to side-nurse hm like usual. The first night I thought...
