  1. Re: Trying to get pregnant while breastfeeding..

Jessicanewmom, hmmm! I didn't even make that connection. One month after she started sleeping through the night, my cycle returned to normal. Two months later, I'm pg. Ha!
  2. Re: Trying to get pregnant while breastfeeding..

I should also add that DD is also getting 3 servings of solids a day too. :)
  3. Re: Trying to get pregnant while breastfeeding..

Hi there! I am also 34 with my first. :) My almost 11 month old feeds very frequently when I'm with her - every 1-2 hours during the day (she is sleeping through the night now) and I pump every 2...

Re: Do I need to suppliment?

Thank you! She is eating 3 servings of solids at daycare. We only nurse when we're together during the week and I only give her 1-2 servings of solids on the weekends. Thank you again!!!

Re: Do I need to suppliment?

    Thank you Mommal!!
You've been so helpful and supportive in the past. I appreciate you!
I will try adding another pumping session or two at night. I was really hoping that adding one at 7 and one...

    Do I need to suppliment?

I've posted a few times in this forum about my 9 month pump slump issues, but I'm not seeing much of any improvement with the measures I've taken.

A little detail about my 9 month old LO:
    3...
  7. How long did you keep your hospital grade rental?

A bunch of questions, I'd love to hear your experiences.
How long did you keep your hospital grade pump rental? How long before you saw an increase in pumping supply?
We're you able to use your...
  8. Re: New Medela Symphony Rental - increased output?

@llli*sprocket - question for you. Did your supply return to normal after you started seeing results and did your supply remain normal once you went back to your old pump?
  9. Re: New Medela Symphony Rental - increased output?

    Thank you Sproket and Mommal!
Good to hear that it may take some time. We recently transitioned from bed sharing to her sleeping in her room because none of us were getting good sleep when...
  10. Re: New Medela Symphony Rental - increased output?

    Thank you.

I've been having odd periods. I've been bleeding about once a week for the last month or so. My OB said this is normal with BF'ing. Baby has been eating solids and in the last month...
  11. New Medela Symphony Rental - increased output?

    Hi,

I've been BF'ing my 9 month old and in the last month or so have seen a sharp decrease in my pumping output. I have enough for her at the breast, but in the last week, the decrease in pumping...
  12. Re: Increased solids and night time weaning

I have a Medela Pump In Style. Not a bad idea. I'll look into it when we get back! THANK YOU!!!!!
  13. Re: Increased solids and night time weaning

Yes. I was able to pump just enough in 5 pumping sessions. Now it takes 7. :(
I change the membranes regularly, I'll change out the flanges tonight and will get some new valves.
    We're going on...
  14. Re: Increased solids and night time weaning

Thank you!! It's hard because I'm able to pump just enough for what she's currently needing. I have more than enough for her to feed at the breast and we de-emphaize solids when we're together as...
  15. Increased solids and night time weaning

My 8.5 month old recently began sleeping through the night (yay!) and she is now taking 3, 3-5 oz servings of solids a day. This combination has decreased my pumping output. Any suggestions on how...

Re: 19 week feeding every 1-2 hours

This is my almost 8 month old daughter to the T.
I know it's hard, and I'm struggling with this as well. But, the only thing you can do is just roll with it. You're doing a great job!
  17. Re: 8 month old frequent nurser & "failure to thrive"

THANK YOU everyone for your support and insight! It is truly appreciated!:hug
  18. Re: 8 month old frequent nurser & "failure to thrive"

I'm not going to stretch out feedings. It's counterintuitive to me on all levels. I did email the sleep consultant to express my concerns and she was VERY receptive and said she was going to consult...
  19. Re: 8 month old frequent nurser & "failure to thrive"

Thanks for your response. She won't sleep without me. She has to physically be touching me to stay asleep. If either of us roll over, she'll realize she's not touching me and will wake up. It's a...
  20. 8 month old frequent nurser & "failure to thrive"

    Hello,

We've been feeding on demand since day 1 and babygirl, who will be 8 months on Friday has either been nursing or taking a bottle (of pumped milk at daycare) every 2 hours. We introduced...
