    Nursing strike or done?

    My son is 18 months.

At 16 months, he stopped bedsharing and slept better by himself in a crib. He hasn't nursed in 1 month. Is that a nursing strike or is he done? He gets very upset when I offer...
  2. Re: Leaving my co-sleeping 15 month for 3 days

How do you feel about weaning? I have a friend who did this and when she returned (mind you 18 months, not 15 months) her daughter had decided to wean instead. If you are not ready to wean, just be...
  3. 11 months - biting and nursing to sleep problems

Okay, where to start. BITING! Pinching right down (has 2 top and 2 bottom teeth) and yanking and laughing! :( This is not my first baby but he is my first breastfed baby, I'm not really sure how to...
  4. Re: Poo problems @ 5.5 months, please help we're so frustrat

Thanks very much! Yes, I do have one protein shake a day but I've always had those. I suppose it could be a bug, I just don't see any signs of teething or ill behaviour. But I hope he will just...
  5. Re: Poo problems @ 5.5 months, please help we're so frustrat

    Thank you!

I forgot to mention I started a diet last week too (2000 calories for a fitness competition), is this possibly causing a foremilk/hindmilk imbalance??? I'm 5'5 and 128lbs.
  6. Poo problems @ 5.5 months, please help we're so frustrated

My (EBF, no supplement, no bottle, no solids) 24 week old baby has been doing dark green stringy "sharts" about 10x a day now for at least a week. This includes a minimum of 2-3 overnight which wake...
  7. Re: Help, baby with tooth and + other q about oversupply

    It's more of a scrape/pinch
  8. Help, baby with tooth and + other q about oversupply

My 8 week old has a full tooth out, ouch! How can I help this when he is far too young to understand

Also, I have still been unable to fully correct the forceful letdown/overactive...
  9. Re: 3 weeks, overactive letdown/oversupply in one breast hel

Thank you! I'm struggling to figure out this problem while this is a 3 week growth spurt so I want to be careful not to compromise my supply. Last night, he fed at 7pm (bedtime), 10pm, 2am, 4am,...
  10. Re: 3 weeks, overactive letdown/oversupply in one breast hel

Thanks, this is what I did last night and it helped quite a bit
  11. Re: 3 weeks, overactive letdown/oversupply in one breast hel

I did view the too much milk forum but didn't see anything for a baby around his age (1 week, 5 weeks) so I just want to be sure as I don't wish to compromise the supply!

Re: REFLUX and Spitting Up: HELP!

I have had a reflux baby (had, he is a toddler now!), but I pumped exclusively for him so I can't answer you 100%, but the #1 sign of reflux is pain/"colic" screaming etc. how does she behave when...
  14. Re: Help for a newbie with a 4 day old?

Sorry to see you struggling! I will say that day 4 with both my boys was always the hardest and it does go up from there.

What he is doing is normal but there are some tricks to help it a little...
  15. 3 weeks, overactive letdown/oversupply in one breast help!

I have a little boy who is almost 3 weeks (19 days) and I have way too much milk in my left breast - it pours out constantly even when not nursing. He is choking/spitting/yanking on the one breast...
