  1. Re: Difference between weaning and setting limits

Just wanted to offer my comraderie to my fellow nursing mom's. Today was a good day in my book b/c my DS (almost 21 mos old) only nursed a handful of times. He was really "busy" (children's museum,...

    Re: Still not menstruating...

May I ask how you knew you were pregnant if you didn't have your period? (what prompted you to get tested?)
  3. Re: So confused about having a 2nd baby???

For the woman who originally started this thread (and others who've added), Sue (the moderator) shared this article with me: http://www.llli.org/NB/NBSepOct06p196.html

    Re: Still not menstruating...

Thanks, Sue. I'm sure his "snacking" all day long is the reason! We do try gentle distractions (esp if we can tell he's nursing b/c he's bored). I know he'll change a lot in the next few months...

  7. Re: So confused about having a 2nd baby???

Hi. I just also wanted to lend my support here. My son is 19 mos and still nurses a lot whenever we're together. Beyond just nursing, he also requires nearly constant attention. I like the term "high...
  8. Re: You know you're nursing a preschooler when...

These stories really brightened my day (even at night!). It's nice to know I'm not the only one with an acrobatic monkey on my breast who also likes to kick while nursing and makes me hold a stuffed...

    Re: Still Demand Feeding?

OK, I'm back after seeing my sweet DS drift off to sleep at my breast. I just wanted to add that, when we're among my DS's same-age friends (18-24 mos) who aren't nursing, I'm always glad we still...

    Re: Still Demand Feeding?

Just a quick reply cuz my DS is upstairs yelling "Mama" to nurse to sleep. He just turned 19 months old and nurses a lot in public still. I know I'm not the only one in the world but, in my circles,...
