Re: At what point do I...

DS is 6 mos old. We WERE EBF until I became PG again (DS refuses to nurse or have anything to do with BM).

The reason I ask, is my sister's LO is 10mos and has only 3 bottles a day and 3 meals of...

    At what point do I...

    Eliminate a bottle feed?

DS has about 5-6 bottles a day. We have introduced solids, but at what point should the "solid" meal replace the bottle?

    Re: I Think it's time

Not so much "permission" per say, I would like to hear what people think about weaning at this stage.

I, in my gut, feel I am ready, but am afraid that when I begin to, that I will regret it.

    Re: Domperidone?

That's what I thought. After about a month of taking it, I figured that "my supply is up as DS was nursing constantly"...so I stopped taking it, and my supply also dropped to almost nothing. ...

    Re: Domperidone?

I started taking it when DS was weeks old. I hadn't been BFing until that time, so it helped tremendously.

My question is, when do you STOP taking it?

Re: Keeps pulling off and re-latching

Well, he is really gassy (always tooting). I will try the burp and switching sides.

I don't think we have thrush (I'm using the APNO from Dr. Newman himself), but I will keep an eye out for it.

    He won't stop crying!!!

EVERYTIME I feed my DS, even if he didn't feed during let-down, he breaks out in a screeching fit.

It usually happens when I finish burping him and go to place in back in the feeding position...
