    Re: Not feeling "let-down"

Don't worry too much!:D Many mothers stop feeling the let down sensation as they get farther into their nursing experience. I stopped feeling mine as well!:)

    Re: Looking up....still need advice

Just a quick update ladies...I've cut my son's supplements down by half and he seems to be doing really well! I'm very happy. Off to post a new question though! The struggle never ends....:)
  13. Re: I feel horrible! I'm not producing enough milk!

It's normal for breastfeeding babies to go through phases where they appear to be very hungry, and also for them to desire to be nursed often. Also, sufficient breasts do not always leak. I just...

That's great news! Good luck, I am doing a little better too! I am trying to pump in between feedings but I have more questions that need a new thread!:p Hope things continue to get better for you!
  18. Re: Can nipple soreness still exist with a good latch?

My LC said the same thing. I am also experiencing continued pain at about 9 weeks, although it is tolerable. I don't seem to see signs of thrush although we did have it before....hang in there. I...
  19. Re: Pumping output decreased.....what does this mean?

Thanks....I try to relax. Perhaps I do get a little stressed worrying about output though, I'll have to keep an eye on it!;)

    Re: Ditching the supplements--need advice!

I only took one dose! My OB and LC assured me it would be enough--but I read otherwise on websites online. Now I am skeptical. I wonder if I should consider taking the other doses..however, I don't...
  21. Re: I think I've made a terrible breastfeeding mistake by supplementing!

Hi there! I just want to say, I am in the same boat that you are, (with the exception of some added nursing problems) and I've enjoyed reading this thread for advice. If you find that some of the...
  22. Re: Pumping output decreased.....what does this mean?

I am, but I am also supplementing. Unforunately I went the diaper route in the beginning and my son was struggling to gain. He was wetting his diapers, but not really soiling them (having bm's)...

    Re: Special care for tubing?

I have an Ameda Purely Yours, and I boil my tubing periodically just to be as clean as possible. If the tubing is removable, I can't see that it would harm it to boil it.
  24. Re: Pumping output decreased.....what does this mean?

Thanks so much--that was really inspiring, and good for you for sticking with it! I hope I am as successful.....
  25. Re: Pumping output decreased.....what does this mean?

Thanks ladies--and to answer the question, when I took a break from nursing to let my breasts heal, I did continuously pump. I was way too afraid that my milk would decrease, and I knew better than...
