  1. Re: Sensitive breast and burning let-down

I don't think so- we dealt with thrush early on... It was more of a shooting pain if I remember correctly. I hadn't considered it though... Ill look more into it. Thanks :)
  2. Re: OK... so cycle returned or not? WTHeck is going on?

Exact same thing happening here (18 mo pp). I thought I had my period (although it was dark and kind of thick..sorry, TMI), then it vanished after a day, only to return acouple of weeks later heavier...
  3. Sensitive breast and burning let-down

Recently, one of my breasts has become very sensitive to the touch - even brushing it is a little painful. In addition, my let-down is now giving me a burning, stinging sensation in the same breast....

Re: pump weaning a little early

I was afraid that formula was the only option here-ugh. I think I can squeeze a pump in at home after the babe goes down for the night, but don't think I can make it work during my workday (I commute...

    pump weaning a little early

    Hi All-
I am going to be moving into a new position at work, and will not have access to an office or really have an opportunity at all to pump. Logistically, it is going to be extremely disruptive...

    Re: pumping/supply question

I have tried conscious relaxation, massage, looking at pics of the babe- all the usual stuff- most days it's not a problem and I don't have to do anything to get a letdown in a reasonable amount of...

    pumping/supply question

Even though I've been pumping for 4.5 months now, I still have days - like the last two- that I simply don't have a letdown at all with the pump (for at least one session a day). My question is, if I...
  9. Re: Tips for storing/transporting pump parts, etc.

I leave my pump, and my hands-free pumping bustier in my office (as well as lanolin, breast pads, hand sanitizer, tissues, grapefruit seed extract, and a big bar of chocolate:) , and take the bottles...
  10. Re: Any suggestions for increasing pump output at work?

Using the Medela Harmony - it's so much more comfortable than an electric pump! :)
  11. Re: Any suggestions for increasing pump output at work?

I have been battling my pump for some time now with the same issues. I also have a similar schedule (gone 10+ hours with a nasty public-transit commute). Here are a few things I have figured out...

    Re: giving up

I use a Pump in Style, pump 3 times during my 9+ hour shift, and usually once at home after the babe goes to bed. I do compressions while pumping and massage as well.
As for the horns, I use the...

    Re: giving up

That was my instinct on solids as well. They'll have to wait.
My period has not returned - and it seems like my supply is fine (baby gaining well) it's just this pump. Im stressed because it takes...

    Re: giving up

That would be amazing, but not rally an option for us. :huh
Baby is almost 4 months - do you think if I started solids it would help me ditch the pump? I didnt plan on it until at least 6 months,...

    giving up

Is there any way I could just stop pumping, and supplement while I am at work? I give up. I'm engorged all the time because I can pump for an hour at a time and get less than 1/2 an oz. I've been...

    Re: Tingly breasts

**** if anyone reads this in the future, I wanted to note that the symptoms that I was having was the beginning of thrush. Wanted to make sure that no one is mis-informed :)
  19. Re: Coconut oil instead of lanolin?

I use coconut oil for everything! On baby's bum to prevent/treat diaper rash, dry baby skin, on sore nipples, for baby massage... and for mom's dry cuticles, elbows and lips. It makes everything...

    Tingly breasts

The last few days, I've noticed a tingling in my breasts between feedings. Kind of like little *zings* now and then - not painful per se, but definitely new. My nipples are incredibly sensitive,...
  21. Re: Constant nursing...I'm going bonkers

I'm totally posted on the couch nursing away, as I have been for the last 5 weeks. I have no problem with that - I'm just looking for ways to balance things out a bit so that I am able to better take...
