    Re: Child-led Night Weaning?

:hug I'm in a very similar situation as you are. Ali's almost a year old, but still getting up 3, 4 and even 5 times to nurse in the middle of the night and I'm exhausted! I tried offering her more...
  2. Question(s) about future night weaning..

Ali will be a year old on the 28th of this month. We've been breastfeeding for almost a whole year! :woohoo

Ali still wakes up 2 and 3 times a night to nurse, which is fine and I don't mind...
  3. Re: 9 months old and in 5th percentile for weight

Ali pops off the breast and when I do offer the breast again.. she doesn't want it. Typically, she'll have one let down and she's finished. Normally with her meals, I'll give her water in a sippie...
  4. Re: 9 months old and in 5th percentile for weight

My Pediatrician didn't want me to "replace" my nursing sessions with Pediasure. He suggested the drink to give her a extra boost of extra calories; with her meals or snack. I have thought about...
  5. Re: 9 months old and in 5th percentile for weight

I am nursing right before meals, 98% of the time. I'll nurse her and about 30 minutes later, she's ready for her solids. It seems that the breastmilk doesn't keep her satisfied for very long anyway.
  6. Re: 9 months old and in 5th percentile for weight

If I'm reading that chart correctly, plus kellymom.com has the same chart, she's in between the 3-15% on their chart. At her 6 month well baby check up, she weighed 13'10 and was between the 10th...

  19. Re: is your baby on scheduled feeding times?

No schedule here either. I nurse on demand, put her down for a nap when she's tired and we have play time in between nursing and nap time. I basically do whatever she wants to do! She runs me, not...

    Re: Hand sucking?

My LO loves to suck on her fists too. I try and give her a pacifier and she spits it out. She'd rather suck on her fists. She only takes her pacifier when she's sleepy.
