    Re: Fears Regarding Block Feeding

I would give the same one after a missed feeding when that would happen to me w/ dd.

At about 8 months, she started taking both sides, but it was about 10 months before she didn't have to chug...

    Re: Fears Regarding Block Feeding

Hi, mama! I know what you are going through. I wound up having to feed my baby 3 feeds per ONE boob before she got yellow stools back. My OS didn't regulate until about 10 months post-partum!

  7. Re: Used a pacifier, now having LO problems

We had this issue after using an orthodontic-tipped paci.

I seriously had to re-teach my kid how to latch...she couldn't even latch on to my index finger!!!

Here is how I re-taught her to...
  8. Re: Is night feedings ok at 14months??

My LO is 23 months + a couple days. She still wakes almost hourly to nurse (co-sleeping here, too). I'm so exhausted after 23 months, though! LOL! SOOO tired! I'm starting trying to nightwean. ...

    Re: Who is nursing 2-year-olds?

My LO will be 2 in exactly 1 month from today. We're working on nightweaning. She still nurses on demand allllllllllllll day long.

ETA: If I tell her no, she asks to nurse in Hebrew. If I say...
  10. Re: 19 month old wanting to nurse more than ever

^LOL! Same here! Yesterday, my LO gave me the sign for milk and said "Aah-aah" (her "word"for it). She headed off to the bedroom. So, I said, "Okay. We'll have "aah-aah." Oh. Wait. Do you want...
  11. Re: 19 month old wanting to nurse more than ever

I have a 20-month-old, and we're going through the exact same thing. Are the molars coming in, perchance? I think that is what started it here.

Gosh. And I hear you on the books! Try reading...

Re: Latch issue or what? Help!

First off, pumping output is NOT an indicator of supply! I actually suffered with oversupply and couldn't pump to save my a*s! Wet diapers is the key to sufficient milk supply! Sounds like your...
  15. Re: Exclusively pumping for 2 months and Exhausted...

You could also switch him to the Breastflow bottles as part of your transition to the breast. They have an inner chamber that has to be compressed (like with nursing) for your LO to get anything...
  16. Re: Anyone got a plan for how long? :-)

My original goal was 2 years. We're 19.5 months now. I'm actively nightweaning her since she always has been an all-night nurser...and this mommy is TIRED now after a year-and-a-half of no sleep!...

    Re: Toddler-isms

My LO made me nurse the remote control yesterday (complete with smacking/nursing noises LOL). After the remote had its fill, LO did the right thing and burped it. :lol

    Re: Clicking Sound

Try running your finger around in a circle in her mouth until she can latch tightly. Then latch her to the breast. That's how we fixed the clicking.

    Re: Best nipples

I think Breastflow is great! It was designed by a lactation consultant and most closely mimics the breast! LO has to use compression and suction to get anything out, and it looksl ike a mini-boob!...

    Re: Adding back daytime nursings

Just try to add the daytimes back and see. You can always leave the daytimes there and just nightwean.
  23. Re: You know you're nursing a preschooler when...

LOL! I had to nurse a HUGE stuffed animal doggy today! LO even helped him out by putting his paw on one boob and rubbing it around so that the milk would come faster! :lol I removed the paw, but...

    Re: Constipation or normal?

I nursed 2-3 times per side (one side only for 2 or 3 sessions), as much as it took to keep yellow stools. You dont' always have to offer the second breast. It took us an average of 3 times per...
  25. Re: C-section and beginning breastfeeding...

    I agree with all posts!
