Re: Switching from pump to breast

Meg, I should print out your last paragraph and read it constantly. Thank you :)

I get help with my 3 yr old for a few hours a day and don't have the resources for more than that.

    Switching from pump to breast

80% done, how to get to 100%?

DS self weaned about 3 weeks ago, since then I've been EPing so make sure he gets breastmilk until a year. I have a freezer stash that will last a while, so I've started to pump wean. I'm down to 3x...

Re: should i increase DD's bottles?

I think that's a good idea. If DS ever needs a bottle before bed, I usually give him more than during the day.

    Re: proper fit of breastshield

    Looking at this: http://www.medelabreastfeedingus.com/assets/file/PersonalFit%20Sizing%20Image.pdf

    Re: proper fit of breastshield

Elizabeth - those are the problems I'm having, and pain too. I've lost my baby weight, so I have a hard time thinking that at this point I need bigger ones.

    Pumping hurts - horns?

I've been pumping for quite some time now (DS is 10 months), and recently it has really started to hurt. I usually have my PISA on about the 3rd setting, now I can barely get past 1. I've lost my...

    Re: Advice about schedule

I had the same question when DS was that age, and then at 9 months it kind of worked itself out. I always put him to bed at the same time and eventually he started waking up at the same time, which...

    Blister - ouch!

I have a blister on my nipple, doesn't look/sound like a milk blister, but I've never had one so I can't be sure.

What can I do to get rid of it? It hurts!

    (DS is 10 months)

I have a PISA also. I haven't been pumping as much lately and wonder if this could be the culprit - I will replace them!

    what parts to replace?

I've been pumping at work for about 5 months now, and I remember seeing in threads people mentioning replacing certain pump parts after a while. But of course I don't remember which parts it was :lol

    Re: Caffeine...is my baby reacting?

I don't have any caffeine experience as I don't drink it - however I will tell you that my 5 month old has recently started doing this. He's up at 3am "talking", smiling, and then again at 6:30. I am...

    Re: He's so hungry!

Thank you all so, so much! I am feeling much better after getting all of this info. I was able to pump 9 oz. today, and if I go down to 3.5 oz bottles on Thursday, that leaves me slightly shy, but...
