Uh oh! They hate the taste of formula!

I thought I could start slowing down on pumping and supplement a bit with formula. We have a lot of similac from people/hospital, so I carefully measured, etc this morning to see if they would take...

Re: How little can I pump w/out drying up?

Wow only 3x a day? That sounds so doable. I have pumped 4x the last 2 days and didn't see but just a little bit of a drop.
    I pump 6am, 11am, 4pm, 9pm

I think I have figured, I will pump when I...

Re: Do my ~10 mo old twins drink enough?

thanks :) . I think Milk is #1 important, but every baby is different and you have to treat them accordingly. Who knows, my next baby could be a milk-baby and only like milk and not solids so much???

Re: Do my ~10 mo old twins drink enough?

See I guess I disagree that solids at this age is just for fun and not for nutrition. We MUST agree that every baby is different. Some walk earlier, some walk later. Some speak earlier, some later....

Re: Do my ~10 mo old twins drink enough?

This morning I was careful to keep track of how much they drink. They drank about 12-15 oz by noon. So, actually not to bad. Maybe it seems less than it really is.
There are some days they are...

Do my ~10 mo old twins drink enough?

My 10 mo old twins (almost 10 mos) drink maybe 12 oz a day each - my DD more than my DS. Is that too little?
Ever since I introduced solids at about 5 mos (I know early) they were GREAT eaters. They...
  9. Do you grieve the end of offering breastmilk?

I have been pumping for almost 10 mos now for my twins. I am getting so tired of it and would like to just sleep in some mornings, go to bed early without having to pump at 9/10pm before bed, have...

    Re: Lumpy?

I noticed my right breast was a little lumpy in one area this morning when i got up to pump. It went away as I pumped. I figured it was due to not pumping since 7:30pm the night before and it was now...

How little can I pump w/out drying up?

I've been pumping for almost 10 mos now and I am so tired of it. Can I pump only like 4x a day and still get milk as long as I do it? Or will I stop producing with that little # of pumping?
    I...

  15. How much BMilk should a solid-food eating baby get?

My twins are 7.5 mos old and eat solid food very well and drink 5 5/6 oz bottles (not big 'volume drinkers - never have been). Some people are telling me they should only get 3 bottles a day at this...
  16. Re: Exclusive pumpers, What is your daily output?

I was wondering the same thing - I pump exclusively for twins and I was wondering if my body knows I am pumping for 2 and makes more? I usually get about 50-70 oz a day (I think from a quick...

Has anyone else noticed that their nipples get white residue on it. I don't know how to explain. It is like I can see white spots on the nipples and when I scrape it is like dead skin/dried milk that...

Re: any suggestions for pumping quicker?

Like PP mentioned, I do breast compressions in time w/ the suction. It helps to move things along. :) Also, sometimes I need to check all the valves/etc to make sure everything is clicked in place.

    Re: Zofran?

Zofran is wonderful for nausea! Reglen was bad for me w/ too many side effects, but Zofran (which is SUPER expensive, btw) works great.

    Getting babies to nurse again
