    Re: Need Finger Food Ideas

One of my favorite is to microwave a vegie burger (microwaving keeps them soft, they are yummy for adults on the skillet) and then slice them into manageable pieces. She loves it and they are good...

    Re: sleeping ....

I would focus on the real problem which is getting an earlier nap - preferably one in the mid-morning. Is there anything you can do? Does he ever sleep in the sling? What if you nurse him lying...
  4. Re: How much food to feed during the day??

I usually do meats after fruits and vegies. But I'm not sure at 6 months that I'd be looking to expand to 3 meals a day. (my nearly 11 month old is just starting to eat 3 meals a day)
  5. Re: Are pacifiers helpful or harmful?

Just b/c she's happy with a paci doesn't mean that when you were previously giving her your breast that you weren't giving her what she wanted. If she's happy at the breast (and your happy with her...

    Re: Stupid Thush!>$#@!

:clap That's great! Which resources were you using? I'm just asking b/c I've had nipple soreness associated with a cyst on my nipple and I notice that when we get a good latch it doesn't hurt as...
  8. Re: how to tell if my supply gone down if pregnant...

I'd say at this point to trust your mommy instinct and try to get him some more fluids during the day. I wouldn't introduce a bottle at this point but rather would focus on improving his sippy cup...

    Re: Stupid Thush!>$#@!

First, have you been treating your lo for thrush as well? I know you said he had no symptoms but if you have it then he does as well.

With that said, if he has a bad latch and you have both been...

    Re: ? for ALL momma's!

I agree with the pp. It goes against my better nature to wake a sleeping baby, but sometimes I have to. I believe in one of those many sleep books I read when I was a new mom the "expert" said to...

    Re: LLL Meetings

Definately go! Usually a meeting has a topic - like getting started with breastfeeding, or weaning and nutrition, etc. Women share their experiences, solutions, problems, etc.

    Re: tomatoes cause diaper rash?

I think most experts rec. waiting on tomatoes until 1 year. I always waited on oranges to atleast a year and usually had to be pretty careful about how much they were allowed to eat until after 2.

I know that when my first son was diagnosed with reflux as an infant the doc said not to be surprised if it "came back." He specifically said not to brush off complaints in later childhood of tummy...

Re: adult yogurt and cottage cheese?

From my understanding the main issue with "adult" yogurt is that it's hard to find whole milk yogurt in typical grocery store.

    Re: Feeding/milk blisters

Totally agree with pp. If he's the one with the blister than you have no need to worry. If you aren't in pain and he's gaining weight, you also shouldn't worry. If you are in pain or he's not...
