I want to add that I've always cooled in a plastic bottle after scalding.
  2. Re: Scalding with bottle warmer - bottles keep cracking!

They've always cracked during heating, in the bottle warmer. Then I lose all the milk. I take the glass bottle (stored in a wooden cabinet) and pour body-temp milk into it.

  6. Storage of scalded breast milk to remove lipase

I tried googling and could not find storage guidelines for scalded breast milk. Is it the same as regular breast milk? I heard if you boil it, it will last only an hour, but scalding it should last...

    Angled nipple after breastfeeding

My nipples are angled like lipstick. When I google it, they all say it signals a bad latch, however both my doula and the lactation consultant both said my latch is really good. There is no pain...
  14. Re: Feeding on demand - When does it get easier
