Re: advice from full time working mamas

Wow! Thank you for all the words of encouragement! I really don't mind the pumping, my milk supply just seems to be dwindling. I usually nurse in the morning around 530am, then pump twice in an 8...

    Re: maintaining supply

He only wants to eat every 3 to 4 hours. I can still feel my milk let down, and I know when I don't because he fusses and cries and there is no milk in his mouth. And he is extremely frustrated.

    Re: maintaining supply

I try not to supplement. I only do it when he is inconsolable and it's the only thing that calms him down, which makes me believe he is still hungry. I do pump when I supplement but I never really...

    Re: increasing output at work

Yep. Don't skip a pumping. From what I've read it is the frequency not the duration of pumping that will help your milk supply. It is better to only pump for a shorter amount of time than to skip it...

    Re: Extreme nipple pain...HELP!

I had the same problem at first. Extreme pain when my son latched on, so much so it immediately brought me to tears. We went and got help from a LC and his latch was a little shallow so she helped me...

    Re: Biting.

I too had biting trouble when my little guy got two bottom teeth at about 6 1/2 months old. It was really bad at first. I tried taking him off and telling him no and putting him down and neither of...
