  2. Re: where are you at with Nursing your toddler over 2?

DS still has a long morning nurse-awake, and nurses to sleep, but besides that it's just a couple of times a day. I don't know if I'm happy or sad about that...

    Re: pump parts in fridge?

:itaI stored my parts in the fridge, too. Not only was it easier / less time-consuming, it also seemed cleaner than washing them out in a communal sink.

If your DD was full-term and doesn't have...
  6. Re: Will this work to increase?

If it were me, I would add two pumpings, but then again, I was a little neurotic about pumping enough. I think that even one will definitely help.
  7. Re: Can I take this while bfing?

:ita Here's a great link - check out each of the ingredients in the pill you want to take.

    Re: is it normal?

It could definitely be a growth spurt - that's the most like possibility. However, it could also be that your baby's eating patterns have changed. Has s/he started spacing feedings out more?

    As...

Re: Tips for our first outing?

This works with an older baby, but it is smart to wait until your baby is 6 weeks old or so. Three weeks is prime nipple confusion time - get your nursing groove on first!

  11. Re: Storing frozen EBM - 9 hour drive

:welcome! You should be just fine in a cooler, but don't use ice - use cold packs. Water melts before bm, so regular ice will actually warm your bm up. And pack the cooler tightly; if there's any...

Re: Tips for our first outing?

Great advice from pps! (Love the tank/overshirt combo.) Don't be too surprised if your DS wants to eat during dinner, even if you've just fed him - a lot of babies want to eat when everyone else is...

    Re: Please help need Advice

Glad that side by side is working for you! Some babies eat more often, and some less - if she is eating less often then she is eating more at each feeding. You are smart to keep offering it to her,...
  17. Re: What is the obsession with starting solids????

DS tried doing that, too. What really helped was to fill his hands - I gave him silverware to play with, and he was happy because he was using the same stuff we were using.
  18. Re: using a paci for 3 week old, good or bad?

:ita:ita Have you considering babywearing? Using a carrier or sling can be soothing to baby, too (without a paci) and can help when you're running around after your toddler. There's a great...

    Re: Delsym safe while nursing?

It's an L1 ("safest"), so I'd go ahead if I were you. Here's some of what Hale says:

"Dextromethorphan is a weak antitussive commonly used an infants and adults. It is a congener of codeine and...

    Re: Another baby cold question

:ita:ita Is he stuffed up? That can make sucking difficult. If he is, you can try nursing in a steamy bathroom or even squirting bm up his nose (not fun, I know, but it really helps to clear things...
