  1. Re: Weaning -- not taking formula -- HELP!!!

Yup - I was hoping to turn back and bring my supply back up. But she showed very little interest in nursing today. I just think it's time. Thank you for your post regarding my weaning questions!
  2. Weaning -- not taking formula -- HELP!!!

Okay, I'm freaking out right now and I don't know where else to turn. My DD is 10 months and 90% weaned. I used my expressed frozen breast milk to suppliment as I dropped feeding from the breast. Now...

Re: Faster to adjust 2nd time around?

2nd time around breast feeding was much easier and enjoyable for me. But like the first time, I did have an abundence of milk the first couple of months. But that was b/c my baby was so large. She...

    Re: Help! Baby sleeping longer

If baby is suddenly sleeping twice as much as before, you might want to consider pumping for only a week or so reducing the amount pumped each night. This way you won't get clogged ducts. Your supply...
  8. Re: Not sure if I should use frozen pumped BM

I agree, do what you think is best. But as long as you sterilized the parts before using them, I don't really see the problem.

Calling all Homemade baby food makers

Anyone make their own babyfood? I do and freeze it in "snack size" zip lock bags. I make food every Sunday enough for the week. Never in the freezer longer then 7 days.
    I don't microwave to thaw;...
  12. Re: Poop question in relation to dehydration

She just always seems so hungry. I'd hate to cut back on the solids. She's a big girl -- over 20lbs at 8 mo. She gets mad when we're eating and she's not. Tries to steal our food.
    Maybe I should...

    Re: blocked duct & pumping

I was prone to a lot of clogged ducts and even had infections a couple times. I was able to stop this from happening by nursing on both sides at at every feeding and changing my bra to a sleep bra....
  14. Poop question in relation to dehydration

My LO's poop is hard little balls -- looks like rabbit poop! Does this solid looking pellets mean she's not getting enough breast milk?
    She's 8 months and on solids (fruits/veggies).
    She seems to...

  17. Re: Period starting - sign of supply dipping?

Thanks everyone. My husband continues to assure me that there is nothing wrong with my supply because our daughter is such a chunk. I'll just keep on keepin on!
  18. Period starting - sign of supply dipping?

I'm worried. My DD is 8 months old and I think I'm getting my period. Does that mean my supply is dipping causing my period to return? I remember with my DS I got my period around 6 months (when he...

    Supply Issue - please help!

    Hi All,
Well I'm not so sure I have a supply issue or what. My daughter is exclusively breastfed. I nurse her generally every 2.5-3.5 hrs. She sleeps 12 hrs at night. She is a rather large baby at 7...
